Biography
Kate Marden is a Master Falconer from central California. Kate has been a falconer for more than years now and is owner of West Coast Falconry. She has a variety of birds she works with - falcons, hawks, owls, and vultures. She teaches in local schools, offers classes to introduce people to the world of falconry, and has her birds fly at special events. Kate offers a tremendous amount of knowledge on all birds of prey. In November 2020, Kate presented to OWA on several of her birds and fascinated us with stories of Harris' hawks. In January, she will share information about the owls of the Pacific Northwest.
